According to a study in the Journal of the American Dental Association, dental amalgam fillings do not affect children's brain development and neurological status. The study tracked 507 children between the ages of 8-12 for seven years.

Nicotine is a reinforcing drug which causes users to crave the drug despite the knowledge of the negative health effects.
